Monica Fishburn is the Engineering Manager at Haakon Industries, a custom HVAC manufacturer. She has 6 years of experience in custom manufacturing and process engineering. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Monica attended Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø where she completed her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. While in school, Monica competed in Division I cross country and track & field as a Zag.
In 2023, Monica stepped into a management position overseeing the engineering team at Haakon. Her current responsibilities include building a high-performing engineering team, managing plant engineering support, and leading all engineering initiatives in production such as new equipment specification and implementation and day-to-day engineering operations support. Monica is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration at Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø as she seeks to become a more well-rounded strategic leader and expand her perspective. In her free time, Monica is an avid runner, outdoors enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her husband and dog.
