After more than two decades developing leaders through the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, Gonzaga doubles down on preparing innovators in business, engineering and science with a $49.7 million investment in an Integrated Science and Engineering (ISE) facility opening later this year.

Three Gonzaga Â鶹¹ÙÍø sophomores won first place at the Sparks Weekend entrepreneurship competition, making them eligible for $50,000 in seed money for their business, Zaps.

From Ecuador, Acosta Loza graduates with a perfect GPA, the Global Scholar Award from the College of Arts and Sciences for academic success, and practical leadership experience after his year as Gonzaga Student Body Association president.

She describes it as "merely an inkling of a concept that I have always had in the back of my head." But, encouraged to submit a video to a competition for budding entrepreneurs, she refined her idea, submitted it and won a third-place prize of $1,000.

As a student in Gonzaga's Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program, Jacob Masters knew that he would thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. After graduating May 13, his wishes are coming true.

Gaby Flake, who is graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration, visited many top schools before deciding to follow her sister Alex ('16) to Gonzaga after visiting campus during a historic weekend for the Â鶹¹ÙÍø in 2017.
