Building Community & Affinity Groups

Our community members contribute to a greater sense of belonging at Gonzaga Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø. All are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to the work and educational environment. 

The Office of Inclusive Excellence supports several faculty and staff affinity groups of the university community formed around interests, backgrounds, identities, and common bonds. Affinity groups actively contribute to GU’s mission, values, and inclusive excellence efforts. The groups are open to the Gonzaga community members.

  • Contributing to an inclusive workplace by helping to attract and retain candidates all backgrounds.
  • Welcoming new employees and providing networking and mentoring opportunities.
  • Creating an open and inclusive space for faculty and staff who share common interests.
  • Serving as a resource regarding employee interests, needs, and policies.
